A coalition of Tannoy leadership secured funding and struck out on their own in 2017 with the launch of Fyne Audio. Rather than simply regurgitate Tannoy’s legacy hi-fi products under a new banner, the new company’s concept was to reimagine the aesthetics and underlying technology while still paying homage to the past.
The F700 is a very compact and extremely high quality design that is intended to make you tingle a bit … this is a touchy speaker that rewards careful matching with source and amplification. This is not a bright-sounding loudspeaker, just forward. The F700 is much more than a quick thrill.
