This amplifier is a total gem. It's a second hand unit in damn-near-perfect condition. In fact it has in the last couple of months been refurbished by the Australian McIntosh technicians. 

Tubes have about 70% life left on them.

This is not your normal airy sounding tube amp. This McIntosh has serious authority behind it as well as a purity of sound which is quite arresting.
