This wood is very popular in making guitars and Ukeles as its resonant properties are becoming more widely known. Hawaiins have also used this wood to construct smaller, weightier surfboards.

Over and above the Colibri XGW 'Gran Cru' this improved version has reduced thickness and tension in the wiring of the gold coils for an even more dynamic lithe sound. Also upgraded suspension for the canter lever.
